Katy Leeson, former Managing Director of Steven Bartlett’s Social Chain, smiling and speaking about leadership and business growth.

Hi, I’m Katy

I’m a growth coach, speaker, and mentor who believes leadership should be human first and not hidden behind corporate jargon.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve led teams, grown businesses, and learned (the hard way, sometimes!) what it really takes to scale - all while trying to avoid burning out along the way. I’ve seen how easy it is to get caught up in the pressure to do more, be more, and achieve more… while quietly losing sight of what really matters.

That’s why the heart of my work is about clarity - helping leaders, teams, and business owners understand their values, align with their purpose, and find the confidence to grow in a way that actually feels good.

When I was made Managing Director at Social Chain, I experienced imposter syndrome for the first time, and it completely floored me.

Since then, I’ve discovered that imposter syndrome doesn’t just disappear (70% of successful people experience it at some point), but it can become a superpower.

These days, I help people reframe that feeling - using it as proof that they’re stepping into new levels of growth, rather than a sign that they don’t belong.

Another big turning point in my career was learning the power of knowing my personal values. When I finally figured out what gave me energy (and what drained it), everything changed - from how I made decisions to how I built teams.

Values work is at the core of my coaching, mentoring, workshops, and keynotes because I really do believe it’s the number one foundation for meaningful growth.

Today…

My work is all about creating space for honest conversations and helping others on their journey. Two of my personal values are learning and helping others, and they show up in everything I do.

I split my days between consultancy work (helping brands find clarity and grow in a way that feels sustainable), speaking at events and conferences, mentoring leaders and business owners 1:1, and running Blank Space Content, the content studio I co-founded in Manchester.

Blank Space is a place for brands and creators to experiment, learn, and create - which keeps me close to the fast-moving world of digital storytelling while helping others bring their ideas to life.

No two weeks look the same, but the thread through all of it is the same: helping people and businesses grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
